Download version 15 of the Squawk Crystal Space Application or Read the documentation. This program isn't a game yet, but it demonstrates multiple views, a background landscape image and an animated 3D character. I have also updated my guide to Using Crystal Space.

New wanted model: "I'd really like a light sabre model to replace the axe for player and knight models in q1, im trying to do a s/wars tc, and a jedi deathmatch mod, but have no access to 3d modelling software, cheers, ajay."

I have uploaded Squawk version 13 using the Crystal Space graphics engine. I have converted all of the textures to 8 bit PNG format and disabled lighting and mipmapping for the sky box. I want to use 24 bit textures but it takes a long time to start up when the screen color depth is 16 or 8 bit because of the way Crystal Space converts 24 bit images to an 8 bit palette.

Crystal Space Official Release 0.14 is out. It includes an early version of my "Squawk" application. A more recent version of Squawk is included with the latest (beta) versions of Crystal Space, or you can download it here.

Quake Army Knife (QuArK) beta 5.11 is out. (It seems pretty buggy, so only get the beta if you want to help find bugs and such.)
